    These were done in walnut and purple heart. Students used basswood and cottonwood. Great beginning project for 3D carving.

    These are excellent. Purpleheart is a tough wood to carve - did you do most of it with a power tool?

      Like the birds, well done. Good thing you let the student use different woods, your choice might have sent them packing

            The purple heart was done with my OZ+ the walnut piece was done with palm tools.
