Back in May my wife’s dog of 17 yrs passed away. Needless to say she was devastated. I carved this as a memorial for her. I had a few challenging moments but am pleased with the outcome. Mounted on a piece of walnut.

It's hard when our pets make that trip over the Rainbow Bridge, Not that your wife will need a remembrance of her bestest of companion, but did give her a fine bust. . .JoeB -
The loss of pets is extremely difficult to accept and I know this very, very, well.
So it is great what you are carving and your piece looks excellent. I'm sure all will be made happy and appreciative. Glad you can do it for her and something to cherish.
Don't forget to sign and date it.
