  • Winter Trout

We’ve been wintering the past month and a half in Baton Rouge. On Monday mornings I’ve been carving with the Pelican Carving Guild and one Tuesday evening I made it over to Hammond to carve with Claude and the Cut-ups. Working on number four. When I get home I’ll be finishing up the tail fins and gluing on the other fins. Hope to have six finished to this stage by the time we head for home.

              Hi Ed
they are shaping up nicely mate. Must be nice to have guys to go carve with we don't have clubs over here. I guess there isn't enough of us getting into it.just a few loners kicking about in their sheds. Bit of a shame really.
