Thanks for the post Bill. These top carvers always amaze me.
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Yes, thanks a lot. Love some of those carvings. I've done two and they were actually OK, although a bit amateurish. I'm starting to purchase some better tools to up my game and I'm very much looking forward to spring time when I can spend more time in the shop.

What mind blowing work. They could be real. When i see work of that quality I think just hang up your chisels you are never going to be that good. Then I think what the heck life is a challenge go for it.

Work like this sure does give you something to think about and no mistake.

          Thanks for posting. Wonderful stuff!!

Superb. The painting proces must have taken kots of patience and a steady hand. You have very good carving and painting skills.

This fishy stuff reminds me of a real nice guy used to golf with a group in the Portland Oregon area, his name was Bill, and he carved Fish and of a very high quality. One day he decided to move away, over to the Bend Or. Area and set up shop.. Lost track of him some where and never heard of him again. But golly the quality and the $$$ he got for those fish..
And these guys are like the Bird guys and gals too whew.. Class.

Always hoping for a nice slice that won't need sanding!
