  • Ready for Paint

    11" x 7"x 3/4 ", Basswood . Paint will be Acrylic and Satin Poly U Finish . Daughter saw a Picture of this and wanted me to carve it for her . Got 2 Daughters ,so needed to do 2 . Was going to Paint them today but Shop is like an Oven , maybe tomorrow . Merle IMG_0003.JPG

        Hi Sappy ,my Ability doesn't allow me to make them the same and that's a good thing because my 2 Daughters are different . I'm hoping the Painting brings out the Detailing better than these Pictures show . Thank You for your always Encouraging Words . Merle

          Hi Mark , they are prejudice , they like all my Carvings . My one Daughter has my Practice Pieces that I was going to throw out when I first started Carving hanging on her Wall , so they are easy . Ha,Ha. Thanks , Appreciate your Commenting . Merle

                      Hi Eddy, I used the 3 Fluted Flame Bits to try and Create Bark and Stressed Wood . I'm Hoping my Painting will show what I'm trying to Create . Maybe tomorrow if it isn't to hot . Thanks Eddy . Merle
