  • Northern Shrike...maybe?

Going to make another try at posting photos...

Well, the second image I tried posting makes the first image disappear. I guess one image will give you the idea. That is... if it actually appears in the post. That is... if the post actually shows up.

Orygoner: where are you storing your pictures? I\'m resizing, cropping and then dragging them all into PhotoBucket.
I copy the IMG Code in PB then paste that straight into the text on a clean line. Don\'t use the Link Icon.

    the paste would go here

add a couple of blank lines then do it again

    paste #2 would go here.

      Re: Northern Shrike...maybe?

A line of text between each linked photo seems to solve the disappearing photos when linking from an external hosting site.

If I ever carve a shrike; I\'m going to name it Vlad...as in \"Vlad the Impaler\".

Been roaming around Alaska and western Canada for the past month.

I\'ll have to make another stab at it. RV... I\'ve always stored and shared my photos via Photobucket. I have to run right now, but I will revisit your suggestions and see if I can get this new, improved site to work for me.

              Re: Northern Shrike...maybe?

In PB, select the pic that you want to post.
Click on the IMG code to the right in the box.

DO NOT use the little \"Insert Image\" icon thingie in the draft tool bar.

Paste that straight into a clean line in your draft text.

\'Enter\' a blank line or two and do it again wit the next pic.

Well, I see both images of the shrike in preview mode. I followed your direction on this RV and it looks good. I am going to hit the submit button and see what happens.

Well... the first try didn\'t work. I copied the img url\'s again, per RV\'s advice and put them in the Quick Reply box one at a time. Maybe I\'m closer to being functional again.

There\'s colour in the dragon fly. I think that there is just a lot of grey tones in the bird and stump.

Another winner Randy, hopefully you will be entering some of your
creations when the Columbia Flyway comes around.
