  • Steelhead

Let\'s try another one. Here\'s a 32\" summer run steelhead caught on Oregon\'s North Umpqua River. I carved this for the fella who caught it...a friend of mine.

Wow, fantastic Randy, one heck of a lot of scaling work done the there. I look at your carving and the images of the real fish, are you sure you did not have this mounted for these images. LOL, well done my friend.

Really nice carving. Like the action of the fins. Detail is really sweeeet. How did you do the small scales, netting or rotary tool. Good mount too. I do believe you\'re a pro.

You may have outdone yourself with this one, Randy. Then again, maybe not. Can\'t wait to see what comes out of your wood next time

All the work I\'ve seen of Randy\'s seems to be the work of divine inspiration.
There;s seems to be a progression of carver; craftsman; artist;...and then \"something else\"
This steelhead is \'something else\' Randy!!
