  • Flag for New Eagle

2.50\"x3.50\"x.25\" Basswood, finished Acrylic Paint and Poly U. will Antique it later. I did the Flag first to keep up my interest to finish the piece. This will probably be my last Eagle for awhile, they aren\'t House Broke and I\'m running out of Newspaper Ha,Ha. They do create a Challenge for me and that\'s a Good Thing. Merle

I guess that is carved out of one piece Merle? I love the way you carve and paint those.

I am in awe of those who can carve small. I consider anything under 10 inches as miniature and under 6 inches as micro!

Wonderful flag, I am looking forward to the completed piece.

Hi Paul, That\'s about as small as I can go. I use the Opti Visor, that brings it up to my working Vision, without that I would be lost. Thanks Paul appreciate your comments. Merle

                              Hey Merle,
Don\'t know how you do it but you sure do it very well. Is that a real BB or did you carve that too??? BTW, I have some extra newspaper if you need it, hate to see you quit carving your beautiful Eagle\'s just because of a little poop.
