  • "Lickered Up!"

I've worked on this little scene for a while and figured I better just call it finished. If you are a dog owner, you are well aware that they are usually more affectionate than we deserve, always there to cheer you up, and ready to give you a little encouragement. Even if you try to brush them off! I really like the pose of the guy and his dog and the details on the hands. I was trying to give a sense of motion, even though he is sitting and I tried to give the dog a little different pose. Thanks for looking!

You did well. It's the sort of scene that I would expect to see. It makes sense.
Sit on the floor, you are gonna get slobbered on. The dog's tongue is the movement.

Really, really good Mike! Maybe the dog wants a little nip too.

Beautifully done Mike. Excellent carving, painting and choice of subject matter. Certainly strikes a chord with us dog owners.

Really enjoyed the carving, Mike, and the dog appears to be a great accent to the carving scene. See my avatar.
