  • Two more little men

Cranked these guys (numbers 3 & 4) out over the past week or so. I try to push myself to do something substantially different with each carving so I can stretch myself out. I'm thoroughly addicted!

The first one is named "Luis" and his is the first mustache I've carved. In carving him out I had no idea he was gonna be Hispanic, but once he was done it seemed like I had no other choice! My little girl picked the name.

The second one is by far the most challenging one I've done yet. His name is "Bob" and he hates the rain. First time with a hand outside of a pocket/holding something, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I used the instructions from a Harley Refsal book that I have.

    Enjoy

Looks like Luis ate the last candy bar and Bob is really "GRUMP". :-{) an old mustache smile.

Looking good! You have every right to be pleased with these two, they are both great. I'd have to say Bob is my favorite, you did a good job capturing the disgusted look in his expression.

Great work on both. You did especially well on the hand.

I think you've got the hang of this carving thing! Nicely done.
