This little fiddler is 4 1/2" tall. I got the basic pattern from an Enlow book but changed his hat and face.

Looks like that fellow would be the life of the party, no matter if it was a hoe-down, barn-dance or an old fashion kitchen party.
            well done!

He is lookin good Joe, and he is sounding good too. Gotta love that bluegrass music. Or is it square-dance?
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Thanks Tinwood, some high steppin' going on.
Thanks Tom, I'll have to turn up the volume so I can hear him too.

Wonderful! You have a great knack for making great carvings that evoke a period and place in Americana. I like that dance floor.

That's a great little guy, I like what you've done.
He's quite a creation, I suspect you had fun.

To carve such a fellow, you must be quite good.
If you don't do teaching, you certainly should.
