  • Mark Aker's pirate, Rich Weatherbee class and others

I went down to Loveland Colorado and attended Rich Wetherbee's class this weekend. Phyllis stayed home and painted Marl Akers pirate a couple of Santas and this other little guy with a big hat. Here are the results I had a lot of fun Phyllis had a lot of work. We each enjoyed our selves. IMG_1567.JPGIMG_1573.JPG

Good idea leaving Phyllis with plenty of work to do while you're away so she stays out of trouble!

I like them all, I like them all!
The short, the long and the tall!

The Santa is neat, though lacking some feet.
And the pirate is scary, making Tex kind of wary,

That brings me to the little guy who interests me most.
If he isn't 4 inches, he most certainly is close.

I like to know all the details on how he was whittled.
If you fess up the info, you won't be belittled.

I believe you are the guy, who said my ryhmes are sublime.
So this ditty is for you. It won't cost you a dime.

And now I must return to my initial refrain.
I like them all. I like them all. I repeat once again!

Thanks rodster I love the poetry, I shared it with Phyllis, the short guy with the tall hat is 5 3/4 inches tall, I just carved he hat and carved the man under it with the remaining wood-one piece
And thanks to every one else for the nice comments
