  • Civil War Soldier Bust

    This soldier is from a Mark Akers pattern from some years back. I carved a couple of them years ago and must have given them away so thought I would do one again. It's a nice pattern and was fun to carve.

      Nice carving, indeed. Was the pattern in a book? If so, which one? I'd be interested in taking a stab at one.

                    It's in the spring 2011 edition of Carving Magazine. If you don't have that you could send a PM to Mark Akers here on the Forum and maybe he can tell you where to get it.
