It's always a challenge to get the fiddle, arms, hands all together on a carving like this. This one isn't as good as I would like but hope you all like it anyway.

Joe, I can almost hear the fiddle. Great job.

The third picture: I see a slight body tilt so common to playing fiddlers. Very life-like.

I knew it was probably going to be a good one, and I wasn't disappointed.
Question though, how many pieces in the completed carving are there?

Everything looks spot on to me, Joe. Excellent carving, detail and painting work...great job on the plaid shirt! Nice capture of motion. Terrific job all around.

Very nice carving, great detail, and painting. The composition shows a nice flow of motion and can almost hear the music.

                      Thanks Ray, thanks Brian.
Joe, there are only two pieces. The bow was separate. However, I replaced the right forearm to make a better fit.
Thanks BobK. I'm glad it isn't obvious that one arm is longer than the other.
