    Good job, Joe. I do enjoy fiddle tunes. I saw another thread referring to Gene Messer (hiker and canoe carving) and that reminded me of Don Messer the famous Canadian fiddler. Then I saw this thread and your fiddler. He doesn't look like Don Messer, but he does look realistic. Did you have any one person in mind as your model? The face looks like a portrait.

    Joe, there are only two pieces. The bow was separate. However, I replaced the right forearm to make a better fit.
