  • Old man with black hat

I liked the looks of this old guy with lots of wrinkles so I carved him from a picture.

Very nice Joe and good clean and sharp cuts. Nice painting and great all-around...a one to be proud of!

Very nice Joe, all the way around. I'm still working on little owls.
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Excellent Joe! Is he from the Vic Hood class?

I think you 'krinkled' him just right. Nice carving Joe.

Thanks Rontana, Dashriprock, Woodburner, for the nice comments

Thanks Tom. As fast as you are you must have a whole flock of owls by now.

Thanks Joe, my wife calls him her new boyfriend.

Thanks Herb. No, this guy is only 6 inches tall. The Vic Hood class project is much bigger. I haven't had time to finish it yet.

Thanks Eddy, & Merle, you are so nice to always comment.

Tinwood, I liked his "krinkles" too. Thanks.

Reminds me of the old sailor painting that hangs by my desk. Nice work.
