  • Well duh...

Finished Dapper man except for his left hand accessory. So once I applied black paint, he started looking like a Lincoln wannabe. Why didn’t I see that coming?! Oh well.

Very nice Kris, Great face on Mr Lincoln.
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

                Hi, your welcome.

Started around 1998 but some years before that i took squared wood and carved it round with a knife at the time that was amazing to me haha.

Here's a fine carving; whittled by Kris.
Lots of fine details; nothing amiss.

Kris, don't really care who it looks like, I think it looks like a swell bit of carving and painting. Why not hang an umbrella from the other hand, he would be all set

Thanks for the catchy rhyme, Rodster. You’re very good at those! Merle what you said is so true of this hobby. It really is fun and good for us to have to think things through and problem solve. Yes it’s gratifying to have a finished piece that we are happy with.
Herb, glad you like the shoes. Kind of fun to carve something besides boots.
JoePaul, great idea, now you’ve got me thinking..,
