  • 2”x2”x6” Gnome

          Great carving (and painting), you are the envy of a lot of carvers, with your ability to carve eyes to that degree.

            One thing I learned in a class with Roger Stegall last November is to start with a gouge, and finish up in the gouge marks with a v-tool...it really adds a lot! Pay attention to how tberry used the gouge, and try and replicate that...
