    This little monk has been carved by many over many years. His pattern was in a carving magazine years ago. He's carved from a 1 x 2 x3 inch piece of basswood. I put a face on my version but the original just showed a little nose and a smile.

      I agree with Glen, to pack that much detail into such a small pice of wood is clearly a " miracle " ....... well done Joe!
      If you're looking for me, you'll find me in a pile of wood chips somewhere...
