      That is great!

I found a book by the artist, Christopher Hart, at Michael's Craft store called Figure it Out.

He goes into a great deal on motion, head tilts, etc., and if one can incorporate his ideas into drawings used to make blanks of caricatures, it would take the mystery out of putting that from paper to wood.

His books are very easy to follow, and you can sketch stuff within minutes of looking at his book.

Thanks tbox. I'll have to check it out. I just downloaded an app called Artpose pro for $5.99. You can pose a male or female figure and spin it around to see a 360 view. I was thinking you could screen shot the figure from straight on and one in profile to make a pattern. I'll have play around with it and post about it in the forum.
        Anders.

Thanks. Much appreciated! I try and look at most everything I do as just practice. I think that takes a lot of pressure off and makes it easier to try new things.

Nice carving Anders. The posture and expression are very good. I like the flat plane style too.
