My freelance writing work has been light since November, which has been wonderful for designing and carving! But everything will get crazy again starting next week, which is also a blessing.

Here’s a woman that I did and was able to incorporate a little movement (my goal for 2022).

It is basswood (from Loess Sawmill). 1 x 1 x 4 inches. I forgot to add… the balloon was carved from an avocado pit while green. Much easier than wood at such a small size.
