Here's one that I carved for myself just for the fun of it. However, I've already had orders from the boss lady not to give it away. Pretty soon our Livingroom bookcase is going to collapse from the weight of all my work. Anyway, I wrote a little ditty to go along with it. If you can sing or whistle it's to the tune of "A Frog Went A Courtin'!
A Bear Went A Fishin’
(To the Frog Went A Courting melody)
A bear went a fishin’ he did go ahum

A bear went a fishin’ one fine day
To a pond he knew on down the way. ahum, ahum, ahum
He set his line with a wiggly worm ahum
He set his line with a wiggly worm ahum
He set his line with a wiggly worm
A big old fish he did yearn. ahum, ahum, ahum
No time had passed he got a bite ahum
No time had passed he got a bite ahum
No time had passed he got a bite
Such a little fish, oh but what a fight! ahum, ahum, ahum
His line went in just one more time ahum
His line went in just one more time ahum
His line went in just one more time
All he caught was a boot with slime! ahum…. ahum…… ahum
