  • LOL, I guess it's mountain man day!

I love how folks get same/similar ideas at the same time, but everybody brings something different to the subject. ;-)

Did this same post on another forum yesterday, but what the heck, here's my take from the weekend...

I'm sure everyone here has heard of the famous mountain man James "Grizzly" Adams.

Well, it has come to my attention that few are familiar with his less-famous cousin....

    Earl "Polecat" Adams...

And as I said on the other forum, the idea seemed funnier in my head, I may remove him from the base, and he can stand alone. A gag that needs that much explanation... :-/ We'll see... :-)

Haha! I’d leave him as is…he’s great, and gave me a good chuckle. Great carving and I love his name!

Fine story and carving...it sure fits together. The skunk really generates interest.

Love it when I get a story as well as a carving. Keep 'em coming.

Yes, leave it! that is great! I'm thinking he who walks with skunk walks alone, and he is also braver than he who walks with bear!

Great little carving! Just write the name "Polecat Adams" on the base and it won't need explanations.
