    Renegade Woodcarvers Roundup, A Caricature Carving Experience, Oct. 24-28, 2011 in Lebanon, TN. just 25 miles east of Nashville on Interstate 40.       Wish I was closer Steve. You have a lot of talent there at your Roundup. It should be a great event.

        You are never to far away. We have some that fly in from California, Canada and Alaska. Over 60% of the population is within a days drive to Nashville.

          I have to say this is an chance of a life time, had so much fun,it will be a yearly trek, wether im teaching or just taking a class, had a great time, my hats off to Steve, he really made this a joy.

            Not only are the classes fun but what we have going on in the evenings are fun also. This by far is one of best caricature seminars going.

              If you have the chance for this Roundup - do it!!!

              The March Renegade was the best time I've had since I was a kid. Aside getting first hand carving instructions from the best characture carvers aound it was also fantastic hearing all those the carving war stories from breakfast time at the hotel to the wee hours of the night at the meeting hall.

              I may have walked in not knowing anyone but left with a load of new friends.

                Ken, Thanks for the comments. Things are taking shape for Oct. I will post the instructor lineup for March 2012 in a few weeks.

                    I am looking forward towards the Spring class...please keep up posted on that Steve and I look forward to seeing pictures of this class as well.

                        Don't forget everyone if you go you'll be carving next to and getting instructions from the famous Steve Brown - 5 time winner at the 2011 National Caricature Carving Competition.

                          Ken, thanks for the comments. When I post the Spring instructors lineup, I am sure you will be one of the first to sign up. We do have opening for the Oct. 2011 Renegade.

                            I thought I would share what I'm going to be working on,it's a rough-out which I have named... the "base-head hillbilly". ( it had a base and a head,so thats what I'm gonna call them).
