  • Erik the Blonde

This little guy is from Floyd Rhadigan's book. In there he was Erik the Red.
He is about 4" tall, from basswood, and painted with acrylics. I took the freedom of adding some shoulder plates, as you never know who he might run into.

Thanks for taking a look, Tom

He is cute, but don't tell him I said that. ;-). Great job.
I like the extra protection gear. I have this roughout in my wood stash, need to get going on it one of these days.

It might be his very first ax. He really doesn't look too mean.

Thanks Joe,Kris, and Terry. Time to get busy Kris.

I love Vikings and Rhadigan. Did you run out of red? Cute all the same. I like blondes too. Nice carving and painting. Thanks for sharing him with us, Lar

                      Re: Erik the Blonde

                      Thanks Mark, I appreciate it.

Atv, one this one I used krylon polyurethane satin. Normally I use Deft satin.

Thanks Lar, but I like blonde vikings. Just use the natural basswood for blonde hair.
