I love how you have him standing. Great movement and paint job. Could you imagine trying to carve a portrait of yourself? I don't think I could.

A true selfie for us old timers compared to the youngin's today who use their cell phones adnauseam. Great stance of the carver but could use a few folds in the shirt & pants perhaps and more chips on the floor? All together a good carving and like another said, we should all attempt one of these at some time during our whittlin' time.
