My first figure carving

I just started figure carving a short time ago. So far I have only done two caricature figures. Otherwise I have practiced doing a few heads and watched quite a few online videos. My interest started after watching cowboy caricature carving video by Gene Messer. He made the process look pretty straightforward and doable, so I gave it a try and I was surprised to find out how much fun it was.
