Re: "Foot Stool"
That is excellent detail on this one, especially the feet. The feet look life like.
I'm guessing here that the cushion is not as comfy as it looks.

Re: "Foot Stool"
Cute stool, Mike!
We had a great time in Tennessee. Eric and Mark showed up the last couple of days as they were primarily there for the weekend classes. My table had some spare room, so they sat there and I was able to chat a bit with them on Friday.

Re: "Foot Stool"
I was a bit hesitant to open the attachments on any post involving the word "stool"... never sure just what might be there.......LOL.
Great idea and great carving Mike.
Thanks for sharing

"Foot Stool"
I carved this from a Harold Enlow rough out and I think it is a good example of his talent and sense of humor. I decided to carve the seat with some fancy buttons and details, trying to give it an upholstered appearance. This is 14"hx14"wx8"d, carved from basswood with dowels attaching the legs to the seat. Painted with acrylic washes and finished with satin polyurethane. Thanks for looking!
