I started this carving with during a class with Steve Brown. It took me a year to finish it, but I finally did. This was my first attempt at at caricature of a woman (I had done some carvings of females in folk art form before).

I found reading the Mad Art of Caricature really helped me. Also, I have been reading any art/drawing book I can get my hands on

Wow. Thank you Claude. I have a wicked case of eyestrain right now, but once my eyes feel better I can\'t wait to read through all those books. That is so awesome that they are online.
