Batter up

It is time to carve Santas, Football season has begun, and here i am carving a base ball player. He was lots of fun to carve and a challenge. I can see lots of room for improvement. I reckon i well carve more ball players.
Also in the picture a couple of pocket angels I carved while thinking about this ball player. By the was he started with a 3x3x6 hunk of bass wood but except for those feet he was whittled down to about 2x2x6

Honestly, I think you knocked this one out of the park! Great carving. Love the shoes and the socks and what a great chin! Nice work Herb! The little guys are very well done as well!

Great job on this fellow Herb! I hope our Toronto Blue Jays don\'t have to face him in the world series .
I really like the posture you gave this guy; That would work for an umpire as well .
