Happy Elf
02-20-2017, 01:59 PM
This "happy elf" is carved in cottonwood bark. The bark is about 2 1/2 inches thick and 4 inches wide. I copied a picture in a recent WCI.

Thanks Merle, Bruce, Wayne, and Leonard, I'm glad you like this little elf face. I had to repair a couple of bad spots in the bark but it came out alright.

Thanks everyone. I like to carve happy faces. I haven't done many green eyes, usually blue or brown. I thought I made these a little too light.
