  • Bark Indian Face

    Here's another cottonwood bark face that I just finished. I used a little paint on this one and think it worked out OK.

    Nice bark carving, It tough for me to put paint on bark, like it natural, but it is hard to see the detail, decision, decisions. I'm going to try just burning to see how that works.

          Nice job on that one, Joe. He looks like a guy who used to play an old Indian in the movies years ago...he would be the wise old man who cautioned the hotheaded young bucks against going on the warpath. Don't have a clue as to what his name was, but he popped up fairly regularly in the westerns of yore.
