  • Two chestnut spirit faces

    Carved these old chestnut woodspirit faces they were hard and chipped out alot on me but maybe there ok .I really like the color of the wood..

    Those look nice Careron, but I especially like the little hobo hiding behind the first one. Great job.
    If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

          Chestnut, there is just something about the name that sounds warming, Your carvings definitely added to that charm. Like the detail in both, especially the second one

                  Well done! The way you've made the beard's and hair flow into the bark lines is well executed. Nice. Now show us the "rest" of your work hidden in plain sight. I see a double ended dog as well as the Hobo.
