  • Look what the high water left behind!!

    Watched this emerge as the water level dropped from our most recent high water event, river was up about 6’ from normal.
    Was able to get to it today to take pics.
    ​​​​​​​It’s WALNUT, ya’ll!!!

              Is that part of a stump, or a crotch? Looks like a great find, but might have a gnarly grain pattern to carve.

                A.C.... it’s a stump, the taproot grew around some rocks, rocks are still there!!, lots of curl showing on one side, I’ll post better pics when I get it up and put the pressure washer on it.. Gnarly grain everywhere, not for the faint of heart.
