Aspen leaf hair stick

I found this quaking aspen limb cut off from some logging to clear an old pasture. Owner said to take all I wanted. Carved great, got a couple spoons and this hair toy.

When you say "Hair Toy" do you means something that you would stick in a hair bun? What every it came out nice.

Thank you Joe. Yes that is a hair stick for a hair bun. I don't have any hair to use one, but I sure enjoy carving them.

Nicely done, and using the leave from the tree which it came, nice!

Thank you Sappy. The toothing on the leaf edge was difficult at times to keep from splitting off. Managed to keep it looking realistic, but there is room for improvement on the next one.
