  • Sea Captain

This sea captain is from the pattern by Alec LaCasse in the latest WCI. It's cottonwood bark and just a little smaller than his pattern.

That's a really nice carving. I've never tried to carve bark,...... might just have to add that to my " to do list "
If you're looking for me, you'll find me in a pile of wood chips somewhere...

He looks like he has a few stories to tell. Nice clean carving. I never carved bark either. I might give it a go.

Nice job Joe, I have been tempted to try that one, but just don’t have a round tuit.
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Thanks, you should give it a try Wayne. It's easy to carve.

Thanks Claude, Merle, Herb, Glenn, Eddy, almasy, & Tom. Tom, you'll have to get a round tuit.
