It's been awhile, but here's something just finished for the fall season. Approximately 22 and 20 inches. Hope it brings a smile.

Those are really nice, and a good size too! Momma doesn't look too happy though.

I really like those and not just for their size or excellent paint. Good ideas and designs.
Somebody has to be the scary punkin'.

Makes me think of other traditional Hallowe'en characters for a scene of a group.
What did you start with? Fence ? Favorite of mine.

Great work, Bob, and the expressions are great. Yep, the female doesn't look happy, some can identify with that?

Thanks all for the kind words. It has been a busy year with all the shows. Now that the show run is slowing down, I hope to have more time to read and post as I am going to spend more time in the studio.
I like to carve the smaller carvings from my old white pines. They are logs that might otherwise get junked. I throw them on the sawmill and create carving blocks out of them. This way I can mill them in a way that really cuts down the chance of cracking. My problem is I'm a log hoarder. I can't seem to turn down the logs. LOL As it is, I have at least a semi load of junk logs that will be turned to mulch. Those are getting hauled this week I hope. Followed by a few loads that I have to pick up from a friend. I think it's some kind of disease. LOL
                Thank again and Take Care
