        "Flat planing is the place to be. Carving l'il figures is the life for me. Free basswood almost everywhere. Oh give me a knife and an old armchair."

        Sing it to the tune of Green Acres is the Place to Be and you'll soon be throwing away your sandpaper, watching Gene Messer videos, grabbing a block of basswood and placing entries in the FLAT PLANE forum. Put your toe in the water. Give it a try!! //
