    Well said, I find myself 'nibbling' my way to the final result. The angles and planes make these carvings so interesting and full of character.

      Thanks Gene, you have really got that zen state of "Head, Heart and Fingers" all in the same place.
      Or wood that be "Fang-gers"?

        I've been looking at theses photos every so often--usually when I get a notice someone posted to this thread. This morning one caught my attention. I couldn't but help notice the similarity in the shape and size of the tall one in the back to those carvings that we see from Marv Kaisersatt. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
