  • side view of the shelf elf

    How i made his hands to hold the corner was leave the arm to long then place the elf on the shelf and where the arms hit the corner was where i carved the hands.Hope this helps

      Vic, he looks great no matter which view you show, but I really do like looking at him head on. Thanks for the side view, it does give us a better idea of how he is done.

                      That is pretty cool, are you going to put him in an inconspicuious spot and wait and see how long it takes some one to notice him?

                        Thanks for all the nice moments.Summer and the job plus my sister passed away about a month ago and i'm trying to help with my parent.I hope when winter come i will be on the board more.He made it down to my radio room.He is sitting next to the window so he can look out.Ha ha

                            Great job,I love it when folks puts a spin or a lil twist and makes the carving all their own. What a great way of learning from each other it becomes.
