  • Well, I finally finished my spoon

I had posted awhile back on what kind of wood it may be, and found it was a Poplar, with green in it.. In the WCI book I was taking instructions from, it was supposed to have a ball in it, curls and a chain.Well the wood was so hard I could not get the ball in and the chain was out of the question, So here is what I ended up with. I coated it linseed oil and at the top I have drilled a hole for a lanyard for hanging.

I think your design is just fine, a great looking spoon. I use poplar when making cane handles, so know what you're talking about.
