There is a carvers meeting scheduled for this Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in Tofino, B.C. They are back to meeting in person after some virtual get-togethers.

Thanks for the info Di. I don’t know him or have not corresponded directly, just know I saw his post often and then I didn’t. Kind of feels like someone not showing up at the coffee shop when you don’t see a regular posting. Hope he’s good.

I did a search in his area there was an evacuation for wildfire on May 5, 2023. Still need to do a fire burn map of the area.

There is a 1,100 Hectares of burn map on May 5 near Mcbride BC west in the mountains which is called theTeare Creek fire. How near to him is unknown... That was almost three weeks agoa602fbfa-852d-43ad-814b-0e65772cf108.jpg. Hopeful we hear from him. I think he is northeast of this fire but that is a guess.

That was one month ago. He lives in a remote area and may have gone to town for supplies. More likely, he has attended the "Carving on the Edge" event in Tofino, B.C. We ran into each other at that event a few years ago.

Was looking over new topics and got to thinking Brian T hasn’t posted in a while. His last visit was 4/25/23. Curious if anybody has heard from him and if he’s ok.
