Cypress Santa lineup

The on in the upper left was the first cypress knee I did, it was in a Carole Jean Boyd class.the pained was a thinned oil and the natural top is finished with motor oil. On the 4 together I used oil paints.and after they dried i used a satin polyurethane. The others I used acrylic craft paints and the satin poly. Carole jeans Boyd's book "Carving Cypress knees" is a great how to book very detailed and go's in depth on painting them. I use the what I learn from it on painting most all of the projects I do use paint. .
