For any of you who have shown an interest in the plaid painting technique Mike Pounders has posted a great tutorial in the "Wood Finishing and Painting " thread . Take a look and give it a try, you'll be surprised to find its not all that difficult after a little practice.

You're absolutely right, Wayne! It's never too early to carve Santas...they're never out of season! Fabulous job on those ornaments...and your talent for painting plaid is killing me!

Those are great Soggy, personally I wait until the last minute to get one carved for Christmas. You really have the plaid painting down.

I would know "Stanley's" work any where, nice job my friend, I guess I am going have to get my act together and
get some carving done, haven't carved any thing for three weeks . Are you going try polka dot hats next? LOL
