I have finished the first of my ornaments! Think I could mail them in a normal envalope padded with newspaper?

Isaac, depending on the subject of your carving, you could certainly send them that way. I have sent a number of my smaller ornaments in padded envelopes. I would suggest waiting until you have all of them done, and then send them out. It usually works out better that way. I think we should plan on mailing them the first week of December. yes, that seems like a long time from now, but you will be surprised at how quickly it goes! Remember, don't post any pictures of what you have sent or received until after Christmas Eve. Don't want to spoil any surprises. have fun with your ornaments, and get to work! LOL!

Plugging away. Got one completed as a prototype. Wanna see it? LOL I know no pics.

Got them all roughed out, and in various stages of carving. Hoping to have all the carving done this week. Painting will take a bit of time.

Hope you're all well and enjoying the fall.

UGH - been on three week long trips in the month and a half - going crazy. Got two done. Have the third planned - I decided to work on two at a time so as one is in thought process, the other might be in rough out. Paint wet and not painted yet. Ping back and forth on the painting. But we got back from 50 years since Graduation of "College" - TAMU-C.

Do all ornaments have to be the same subject?
