  • Never to early

I hope this Santa is not to early. He is done in the Rick Butz style. 5'' tall in basswood. I will clean up some of the cuts then seal and paint. Thanks for looking.
    Carve On,

Wow Kdiddle, Great face, and nice clean cuts. You still have time to get him painted.
If I took the time to fix all my mistakes, I wouldn,t have time to make new ones.

Never too early for Santa, he's in style the year round. I especially like the way you've done his hair, I'm going to study that and see if I can do something similar.
            thanks for posting,

I do think also the hair is great. But if you think it is a bit early, just stick some Easter eggs around him..

Thanks for the nice comments. This one is now all Gesso and will have to think about the color. The hair and beard I plan out and use a combination of veiners, v-tools, and a knife. I will post finished carving when complete.

                            Thanks again,
                            Kadiddle
