  • Kneeling. praying Santa

Here it is getting close to February and we are still finishing Santas Or maybe getting started for 2021
Anyway this guy is kneeling and supposed to be praying to get the praying hands totally correct i should have carved them first leaving room to get the sleeves correct. There will be a next time -- another chance to perfect him. He is a 7 inch tall Pat Moore RO.

Nice one Herb, and you have a jump on 2021. Santa's are fun throughout the year.

Good one Herb! Those hands look ok (IMO). You and I think a lot alike, if I have something that I'm not entirely pleased with on a carving, rather than trying to " fix" it (and possibly ruin it ), ..I keep that in mind and correct it on the next one.

Very nice! I struggled with the pants cuff in relation to shoes on my last carving, so I know what you mean. Your praying hands look good though.

Nice Santa Herb. Looks to me like he has his mittens on. Just paint them green and everyone will think that's what you planned.
