  • Santa with a Cigar

    While I was down in Colorado enjoying the CCA show Phyllis was home painting. I am told Santa does not smoke cigars This one does he is off duty from the looks of things and one does need something after all those milks and cookies. From a Russel Scott RO

      Nice carving, I like the cottony look of the trim. And nice painting too, the shine in the eyes is a really nice touch!

          Hi Herb, great Santa. Like the way you made his sleeves. And the painting ofcourse. Btw. why shouldn't Santa enjoy a cigar after work??

            Great job on Old Saint Nick ! I guess Santa can smoke a cigar if he wants to, the old bugger works pretty hard and makes a lot of people happy throughout the year.
            For what it's worth, I sell a lot of Santa tree ornaments at craft shows and a local gift shop and every year I make sure to have a few of the old fellow smoking a big old joint..... they always sell
            If you're looking for me, you'll find me in a pile of wood chips somewhere...

                      Thanks for the reply. I thought it looked like a paint treatment but wasn’t sure, I’ve never seen or used it before.
