Wayne, it was done from a Basswood Goose Egg, approx. 4" tall by 3" wide.

Ricky,it was actually one I found a picture of online, don't remember were, it was changed up from an Angel to a Santa for this carving, but be my guest using it and changing it in any way.Thanks for the very kind words.
