  • Meet Quincy

Meet Quincy…Quincy is a jolly old elf and is very nice to all the other elves. He always has a smile and brings a spirit of joy to Santa’s workshop whenever he is around. Quincy has been working in Santa’s workshop for over 75 years! He is my third ever elf ornament! Carved from basswood with acrylic washes and Deft satin finish. Quincy is 6" long and hangs from a loop of green satin ribbon. Photo #4 shows Quincy before he was painted. As always comments and critiques encouraged.

Wow makes me want to try carving and elf. I like his smile. Most elf carvings do look like someone just smashed the toy they have been working on all week.

Quincy seems a cheerful little Elf. Well done, Bob.
